TTM Diagnosis Practicum with Dr. Tenzin Yangdon

  • San Rafael & Online San Rafael, CA, 94901 United States (map)

In this hands-on practicum, Dr. Tenzin will guide students in the basic diagnostic techniques of TTM (including sense organ inspection, urine analysis, and pulse reading) and will review the material presented in Dr. Nida's July 2017 TTM Diagnosis workshop. She will also offer supervision for students working on the urine analysis and pulse reading homework assignments from that workshop.

Prerequisites

This practicum is open to everyone. It is strongly recommended as a prerequisite for Dr. Nida's October 2018 Organ Pathology & Diagnosis workshop, especially for students who have not previously studied TTM diagnosis.

Credit

For students in the Foundations of TTM program, this practicum provides 4h of Clinical Integration credit when taken in person.

Preparation

Please review The Tibetan Book of Health chapters 1–6, Sowa Rigpa Points pages 49–56, and the Ku Nye 3: General Diagnosis coursebook.

Please bring the above books (copies will also be available for purchase) as well as a sample of your first morning urination in a clean glass jar. (If you live with roommates or family, please consider bringing urine samples from them as well!)
