When we are prepared for our death, the way we live changes profoundly. In this daylong program, Dr. Nida will teach on the practice of dying with awareness according to the Tibetan spiritual tradition. He will offer empowerment, transmissions, and teachings on the Phowa Yoga practices from the unique spiritual tradition of Tibetan Medicine known as the Yuthok Nyingthig. These practices can be used to approach the end of life with certainty and achieve 'liberation without meditation' at the moment of death. Dr. Nida will also offer analysis of the marks and signs of successful Phowa practice.
This program is open to everyone, with no prerequisites.
This program falls on an auspicious Dakini Day, the 25th day of the Tibetan lunar calendar. At the end of the teachings and empowerments, we will offer a Yuthok Nyingthig Ganapuja feast together in celebration. Please bring food, drink, and flowers to share!
