In this workshop, students will learn the Mebum cupping techniques used in the practice of Ku Nye Tibetan Massage and External Therapies. Mebum uses vacuum pressure to remove an excess of the nyepa from the body, relieving tension and stagnation and promoting energy flow. This workshop extends and supplements the July 7–10 Ku Nye Tibetan Massage intensive and the July 12–13 Channels & Points workshop.
This workshop is open to laypeople as well as health practitioners of all traditions. Students who have not previously studied the Root Tantra (FTTM 1.1–1.4 or TTM 1.1) must attend the Introduction to Tibetan Medicine workshop on July 6.
